Fishing at Fort Trumbull State Park

 

Fort Trumbull State Park boasts one of the finest fishing piers on the east coast.  Rod holders are built right in to the railings, and the pier is well-lit during the night.  The pier is open 24 hours a day, every day of the year for fishing.  Since the park is in the marine district, adults and children do not need fishing licenses to fish off the pier.  Species caught from Fort Trumbull include:
